The Racer MultiTop Short WP Glove is one of the best value, highest performing, and most protective gloves weve ever had on the shelves.

As always with Racer, we start with the disclaimer that we know youre probably not racing, and thats not why we carry this brand.

Instead, we carry Racer gloves because the fit tends to be a favorite for folks trying them on in-store. Plus they offer outsize performance, with features here including Knox palm sliders, a Kangaroo skin palm backed up with Kevlar, and multiple armored spots along the digits, capped with a carbon fiber knuckle guard.

Unlike all other Racer gloves weve supported in the past, this ones waterproof. As always a waterproof rating means itll be windproof too, making this a great pick for spring and fall riding.

The waterproof/breathable PU membrane boasts a 5000ml water resistance rating.

Even though its a short cuff glove, its really more of a mid-cuff, with added protection around the wrist. Weve found that the glove can be worn over or under the cuff of your jacket, depending on what youre riding.

With pre-articulated fingers and a non-so-subtle carbon knuckle guard, this is an aggressive looking glove ready and able for all manner of spirited riding. But the two-tone color scheme gives it a bit of a classic feel, too.

Uninsulated, the waterproof liner provides an inherent warmth that allows this glove to be worn in a range of temperatures depending on a rider's cold tolerance and if the motorcycle has heated grips and or hand guards. As always, the kangaroo palm provides excellent feel of the grips while providing all day comfort.

Fun Fact: Kangroo is even stronger than deerskin on the abrasion scale, but its expensive and hard to find, so we dont see it used very often.

About the only thing these gloves dont do is work with a touchscreen device. For that, the user is left to his/her own devices. If you must have touch-screen capability, we recommend trying .
